Acclaimed Director Joseph Vilsmaier wins Lifetime Achievement Award
Munich, November 14, 2013 - German director and cinematographer Joseph Vilsmaier, whose credits include award winning motion pictures such as "Stalingrad", "Autumn Milk", "The Harmonists", "Brother of Sleep" or "Nanga Parbat", has received the Video Champion Lifetime Achievement Award of the German Home Entertainment Industry.
The award was given to Vilsmaier in front of 550 stars and guests during the 14. Entertainment Night at the Westin Grand Hotel in Munich. The event customarily winds up the "Kongress Video Entertainment", the most important annual trade convention of the home entertainment industry in Germany.
